Jakarta, Feb. 6 -- Transportation Minister Dudy Purwaghandi is preparing all transportation modes ahead of the 2025 Eid al-Fitr homecoming to ensure smooth transportation during the period.

"We are preparing operational plans in all transportation modes, namely land, sea, air, and railways," he said in a statement released on Thursday.

For land transportation, his ministry is focusing on ensuring the readiness of road and public transportation infrastructure, traffic engineering management, and various points related to security aspects.

For sea transportation, especially to anticipate vehicle density around ports, the ministry will implement a delaying system at Merak, Ciwandan, and BBJ Bojonegara Ports.
