Jakarta, July 14 -- Deputy Minister of Trade Dyah Roro Esti stated that her ministry is focusing on securing the domestic market, expanding export markets, and supporting the exports of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in 2026.

"The Ministry of Trade has three main priorities, and the first one is securing the domestic market," Esti remarked during a meeting with Commission VI of the House of Representatives (DPR) in Jakarta on Monday.

The deputy minister elaborated that to secure the domestic market, efforts made include increasing interregional trade, optimizing trade infrastructure, facilitating product development and certification, and enhancing consumer empowerment.
