Padang, West Sumatra, June 28 -- The Ministry for the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (P2MI) has opened a migrant center at Padang State University (UNP), Padang city, West Sumatra, to help university graduates find jobs overseas.
"After the inauguration of the migrant center at Diponegoro University (Central Java), the P2MI Ministry has launched the first migrant center in West Sumatra," the ministry's director general of promotion and utilization of overseas work opportunities, Dwi Setiawan Susanto, said in Padang on Saturday.
The UNP Migrant Center is an integrated service point that will provide comprehensive and accurate information about employment procedures and work opportunities overseas, he informed.
