Jakarta, June 22 -- The Environment Ministry is currently investigating the potential environmental damage caused by nickel mining activities in the Raja Ampat area, as part of strict supervision requested by President Prabowo.
Environment Minister/Head of the Environmental Control Agency (BPLH) Hanif Faisol Nurofiq said President Prabowo has taken extraordinary steps by revoking four Mining Business Permits (IUP) from five companies operating in Raja Ampat, Papua Barat Daya.
