Jakarta, July 17 -- The Directorate General of Air Transportation at the Ministry of Transportation highlighted its commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and addressing climate change through sustainable policies.
"As part of Indonesia's commitment to the Paris Agreement and the target of achieving Net Zero Emission (NZE) by 2060, we continue to encourage the implementation of programs and policies that support emission reduction," the directorate general's secretary, Achmad Setiyo Prabowo, stated here on Thursday.
Prabowo remarked that his ministry had earlier held a monitoring session on climate change and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions management activities in the air transportation subsector in Jakarta on July 14-15, 2025....
