Jakarta, July 21 -- The Ministry of Creative Economy and the National Creative Economy Movement (GEKRAFS) are collaborating to develop Indonesia's creative economy sector, starting from regions in the country.
The collaboration was marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the two parties in Jakarta on Sunday.
"This MoU is a basis for a more concrete cooperation in supporting the strengthening of the national creative economy ecosystem, which starts from regions," Creative Economy Minister Teuku Riefky noted in a statement received on Monday.
This collaboration marks the initial step in building a long-term collaboration between the government and the creative community.
