Jakarta, Dec. 16 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs is focusing on digital literacy improvement efforts for vulnerable groups, including older adults and people with disabilities.

"They are the main priority. They include children, adolescents, older adults, people with disabilities, and even those with low literacy," said the head of the ministry's Human Resources Development Agency, Bonifasius Wahyu Pudjianto.

Speaking at the National Meeting of Digital Literacy Activists here on Tuesday, he emphasized that digital literacy is crucial to protect vulnerable groups from various threats of digital crime, including fraud.
