Jakarta, Dec. 23 -- Deputy Minister for Migrant Worker Protection Christina Aryani explored cooperation in placing Indonesian migrant workers in Japan through the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) scheme during a meeting with IM Japan.
At the meeting held at the Ministry office here on Tuesday, Aryani said that IM Japan had expressed interest in cooperating with the Ministry in the direct placement of Indonesian workers in Japan.
Aryani emphasized that any form of cooperation must provide added value for the interests of Indonesian migrant workers, particularly in terms of protection.
