Jakarta, Jan. 24 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education is expanding vocational courses and training programs to improve access to high-quality, inclusive education and reduce the number of out-of-school children nationwide.
"The ministry guarantees all citizens' rights to both formal and non-formal education," Director General Tatang Muttaqin said in Jakarta on Saturday.
He said ensuring the right to education is central to the ministry's commitment to broadening access and promoting lifelong learning for all Indonesians.
Muttaqin emphasized that education should not be limited by geography, time, or socio-economic conditions.
