Jakarta, Oct. 1 -- Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Arifah Fauzi emphasized the importance of a shared commitment to strengthening women's empowerment and child protection in Lampung Province.

"We must work together. Efforts to protect women and children cannot be carried out by one party alone," said the minister here on Tuesday.

"We are encouraging the implementation of the Indonesian Joint Space (RBI) so that the spirit of mutual cooperation can be more truly felt by the community," she added.

She made this statement when signing a joint commitment between the Lampung Provincial Government and the regents/mayors in Bandar Lampung.
