Jakarta, Feb. 21 -- The Ministry of Religious Affairs has begun distributing dates received from Saudi Arabian King Salman to various elements of society ahead of the holy month of Ramadan 1446 Hijriah/2025.

The symbolic handover was carried out by the ministry's secretary general, Kamaruddin Amin, to representatives of distribution partner institutions, including Muhammadiyah, Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), GP Ansor, the Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI), Istiqlal Mosque, and the House of Representatives (DPR).
