Jakarta, April 27 -- The Indonesian Foreign Affairs Ministry informed that all Indonesian citizens in Iran are safe, in regard to the explosion at the port in Bandar Abbas, Iran.
In a statement on Sunday, the ministry's spokesperson, Rolliansyah Soemirat, said that of the total of 385 Indonesians living in Iran, none of them live in Bandar Abbas.
"Most of the students live in Qom, and many other Indonesian citizens live in Tehran, the capital of Iran," the statement said.
According to him, in 2024, two Indonesian citizens worked as Crew Members (ABK) in Bandar Abbas, but they have returned to Indonesia.
