Jakarta, May 27 -- The Ministry of Health launched the 2024 Nutritional Status Survey (SSGI) on Monday (May 26), announcing that the stunting prevalence rate in the country stands at 19.8 percent.
The national survey, which is the main reference for accelerating stunting reduction, recorded a decrease in the national stunting prevalence from 21.5 percent in 2023 to 19.8 percent in 2024.
Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin, in a statement on Tuesday, reiterated the government's commitment to reducing the national stunting rate to 14.2 percent in 2029 in accordance with the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) target.
