Jakarta, March 10 -- Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Meutya Hafid and National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo strengthened their synergy in handling cases of fake base transceiver stations (BTS) and online gambling.

During a meeting held here on Thursday (March 6), they reaffirmed their joint commitment to carrying out law enforcement operations against cybercrime perpetrators.

"Digital space security is a priority. There is no tolerance for cybercrime perpetrators who threaten public order," Hafid said, as quoted in a press release from here on Monday.

She emphasized the importance of close collaboration between the government and law enforcement agencies to create a safe and reliable digital ecosystem.
