Jakarta, June 13 -- The Ministry for the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (KP2MI) and the Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) in London, the United Kingdom, discussed opportunities for placing Indonesian migrant workers in that country, along with associated challenges.
"From this meeting, we hope to get inputs on the challenges of placing and protecting Indonesian migrant workers in the UK," Deputy Minister of P2MI, Christina Aryani, said here on Thursday after an online meeting with the Indonesian Embassy in London, as per a ministry statement.
During the meeting, she said her ministry will reorganize and improve the governance of migrant worker placements in the UK.
