Jakarta, Sept. 26 -- Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita will enforce mandatory Indonesian National Standard (SNI) for food trays for the Free Nutritional Meal Program (MBG) to maintain quality and support the national program.

His policy is intended to guarantee that food trays comply with at least the SNI 3.04 standard, safeguarding food safety and curbing the circulation of non-standard products in Indonesia.

"If it does not meet the 3.04 standard, the product cannot be distributed in the country," he conveyed on Friday.
