Tangerang, Oct. 16 -- Indonesia's Cooperatives Minister Ferry Juliantono has called on regional governments to allocate land for the construction of operational warehouses and outlets for the Kopdes Merah Putih village cooperatives.

Speaking during a working visit in Tangerang, Banten, on Thursday, Juliantono said the rollout of Kopdes Merah Putih facilities across various regions began in October and will continue in phases.

"We've discussed with local officials, including district heads, to start identifying government-owned land at the provincial, municipal, and village levels," he said.
