Jakarta, May 18 -- Indonesia's Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin has planned to conduct free health checks (CKG) for students in 200 thousand schools starting in July to accelerate the target of serving up to 300 thousand people per day.
In a discussion here Saturday, Sadikin informed that the CKG program has reached 5.8 million people since it was officially launched in February this year.
"Yet it has not met the target. Therefore, we will be conducting the free health checks at 200 thousand schools," he remarked.
According to him, the number of people receiving the CKG services daily is recorded at 180 thousand, or around four million people per month.
