Jakarta, Feb. 7 -- Minister of Culture Fadli Zon received a visit from Banjarbaru Mayor Erna Lisa Halaby of South Kalimantan to discuss strategic regional agendas, particularly efforts to preserve cultural heritage sites, strengthen cultural and creative villages, and empower local artists.

In a press statement released by the ministry on Saturday, Zon reaffirmed the Ministry of Culture's commitment to supporting regional initiatives that promote cultural development.

During the meeting, Halaby emphasized the importance of preserving cultural heritage sites, including reinforcing historically significant areas and promoting intangible cultural heritage.
