Jakarta, March 8 -- Higher Education, Science, and Technology Minister Brian Yuliarto is striving to cultivate a scientific culture within society as a foundation for advancing the nation and enhancing its global competitiveness.

"We want to build a scientific culture, a culture that encourages people to rely on knowledge in their daily lives," Yuliarto stated during a discussion event in Jakarta on Friday.

He noted that many Indonesians are easily swayed by conflicting information, often leading to heightened public emotions.
