Jakarta, June 19 -- Primary and Secondary Education Minister Abdul Mu'ti reviewed the revitalization and expansion project of the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School (SIKL) in Malaysia to reinforce the government's commitment to providing equal education for all Indonesian children.

In a written statement cited on Thursday, the minister noted that his firsthand inspection aimed to assure the public that the Educational Facilities and Infrastructure Revitalization program extends to Indonesian citizens abroad.

"As one of the oldest Indonesian overseas schools with a large number of pupils, SIKL has been playing a strategic role in catering to the educational needs of Indonesian children in Malaysia," he highlighted.
