Jakarta, May 3 -- Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment, Muhaimin Iskandar, has invited entrepreneurs and workers to sit together and discuss alternative solutions for layoffs.

At the parliamentary complex in Jakarta on Saturday, he said that the problems of layoffs and outsourcing of work systems require a holistic solution. Therefore, multi-party discussions are needed.

"This situation requires a thorough approach. We need a holistic solution, especially to avoid layoffs. Entrepreneurs, government, and workers must sit together," he emphasized.

According to Iskandar, an improvement in the economic condition is also needed amid layoffs.
