Jakarta, Jan. 13 -- Indonesia's Primary and Secondary Education Minister Abdul Mu'ti officially reopened 14 schools in South Kalimantan's cities of Banjarbaru and Banjarmasin after they were renovated under the 2025 school renovation program.
"Comfortable schools with well-equipped classrooms are expected to provide a supportive environment for children to study with greater motivation," he remarked at Al-Islami Nurul Ma'ad Islamic High School in Banjarbaru on Tuesday.
He emphasized that, under President Prabowo Subianto's leadership, the government has made school renovation one of its key initiatives to improve the national education system.
