Jakarta, Jan. 6 -- Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Arifah Fauzi will coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to ensure women are actively involved in post-disaster recovery, particularly through sustainable economic activities.

"The data that are still being finalized by regional teams will serve as the basis for planning the proposed sustainable programs," Minister Fauzi said in a statement on Tuesday.

She made the remarks while visiting a flood evacuation site on Alur Pakis Street, Harapan Makmur Village, Sei Lepan sub-district, Langkat District, North Sumatra.
