Jakarta, Dec. 5 -- Indonesian Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi stated that as many as 119.5 million people are expected to travel, both within and outside their respective provinces, during the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year holiday period.

"According to the survey, 42.01 percent of Indonesia's population, or approximately 119.5 million people, are likely to travel during the Christmas and New Year holiday period," he said during a discussion with the media here on Friday.
