Jakarta, April 2 -- Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati highlighted that the government had mobilized the state budget (APBN) to contribute to the development of tourist attractions and toll roads across Indonesia.
In her Instagram post, cited here on Wednesday, the minister drew attention to a tourist area along the Kesek River in Kendal District, Central Java Province, which received Rp250 million (US$15 thousand) from the APBN as authorized capital.
"This tourist attraction offers a variety of activities we can enjoy, such as learning how to make palm sugar," she noted.
Indrawati remarked that the tourist area had generated economic benefits for the residents of Sriwulan Village since its launch in May 2022.
