Jakarta, Sept. 15 -- Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto expressed optimism that Indonesia's economic growth could reach 5.2 percent in 2025 through the new economic policy package.
The new policy package is known as "8+4+5" which comprising eight economic programs for 2025, four programs for 2026, and five employment absorption initiatives.
"Hopefully, we can reach 5.2 percent," he said in response to reporters' questions on growth projections at the Presidential Palace here on Monday.
The minister explained that the optimism is based on the government's efforts to accelerate its spending and boost people's purchasing power through the policy package.
