Jakarta, Feb. 12 -- Transmigration Minister Muhammad Iftitah Sulaiman Suryanagara said his ministry will provide clean water facilities to support recovery efforts in disaster-affected areas in Sumatra, particularly to help meet communities' basic needs.
"We have received proposals from the local governments. We will focus on providing clean water facilities," he said on the sidelines of a press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday, February 11.
He said the ministry is prioritizing the provision of clean water infrastructure as part of the recovery program, but did not provide further details.
