Jakarta, Sept. 23 -- Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Minister Rini Widyantini stated that artificial intelligence (AI) can be used for the automation of routine tasks, supporting data-based decision making, and detecting and preventing misappropriation.

She noted that even though creating a digital climate within the government bureaucracy in Indonesia is not easy to do, the presence of AI offers big opportunities to realize it.

"It must be supported by the development of digital talents and AI literacy so that civil servants can become AI users who have critical thinking skills, uphold ethics, and are innovative," she said in a statement here on Tuesday.
