Jakarta, Nov. 1 -- Manpower Minister Yassierli emphasized the importance of supervision to prevent misuse of the 2025 National Internship Program.

In a statement issued in Jakarta on Saturday, Yassierli said the Ministry of Manpower has established a monitoring and evaluation system as well as a complaint channel to ensure the program's implementation complies with regulations.

"We do not want internships to become a means of exploitation. Therefore, every participant is required to record their daily activities on the platform, and institutions or companies must provide mentors to guide them," he said.
