Jakarta, Sept. 1 -- Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto expressed his condolences to the victims and families affected by the social and political dynamics that occurred last week.

This incident was a heavy blow to the nation as it strives to build a strong and sovereign economy, he added.

"I understand the concerns and uncertainties felt by the public. However, we hope the public does not need to worry," he stated at the Indonesian Capital Market Stability Press Conference at the Main Hall of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in Jakarta on Monday.
