Jakarta, July 23 -- Deputy Communication and Digital Affairs Minister Nezar Patria emphasized the government's commitment to protecting the rights of publishers and journalists amid the rapid pace of digital transformation and the growing dominance of artificial intelligence (AI).
"We want to ensure that technology, including AI, will not undermine fundamental journalistic values, but instead, strengthen independent and responsible journalism," he noted in a statement in Jakarta on Wednesday.
