Jakarta, March 17 -- Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi ensured the readiness of Gambir Train Station in Jakarta ahead of the homecoming and return flow for Eid al-Fitr next month.

Purwagandhi and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya conducted a review to directly check the readiness of Gambir Station's facilities and infrastructure in preparation for Eid transportation.

"The visit aims to ensure the readiness of facilities, infrastructure, services, and officers ahead of the surge in the flow of homecoming transportation," the minister noted in a statement on Monday.
