Jakarta, Oct. 22 -- Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi announced a 13-14 percent reduction in airfares for the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year holiday period.

"The decision aims to maintain interregional connectivity and ensure smooth public mobility with more affordable fares. We want everyone to enjoy air transportation services, especially during the Christmas and New Year holiday," he said in a statement on Wednesday.

The program aligns with President Prabowo Subianto's directive to strengthen the momentum of national economic growth in the second half of 2025, focusing on boosting household consumption and purchasing power.
