Jakarta, Dec. 17 -- Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi has affirmed the readiness of land transportation in East Java ahead of the 2025/2026 year-end holidays, citing strengthened terminal facilities, enhanced safety oversight, and robust cross-sector coordination.

"We want to ensure that transportation infrastructure is fully prepared for the Christmas and New Year period in East Java, particularly along the Surabaya-Banyuwangi corridor," the minister said in a statement on Wednesday.
