Jakarta, March 25 -- Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi encouraged people to depart earlier for the 2025 Eid al-Fitr homecoming following the implementation of the work from anywhere (WFA) policy to avoid congestion and ensure smooth traffic flow.

The minister stated here on Monday that by departing earlier, people can avoid the peak of the homecoming exodus, which is projected to occur on March 28, 2025.

Early departures not only help travelers bypass crowded conditions but also minimize stress and lower the likelihood of accidents, making the journey more comfortable.

He further stated that departing earlier also gives homebound travelers more time to rest during their journey.
