Jakarta, March 20 -- Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR), Puan Maharani, has said that the Military (TNI) Bill has met all legal principles required to become a law.

"The House Plenary Session has just ratified the TNI Law, which has fulfilled all necessary legal principles," she informed at the Parliament Complex here on Thursday.

She made the statement after leading the Plenary Session, which approved the passage of the TNI Bill into law.

Maharani said that the TNI Bill has gone through the necessary legislature mechanisms.

"From receiving letters, accommodating public participation, to hearing concerns from related parties, and conducting discussions openly," she added.
