Jakarta, June 26 -- Minister for the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (P2MI) Abdul Kadir Karding, Wednesday, inaugurated the Migrant Workers' Golden Village in three villages in Wonosobo District, Central Java, with the aim of boosting local economic growth.
The villages-Jlamprang, Kuripan, and Margosari-are all located in Wonosobo District, Central Java, Karding stated at the inauguration event, as stated by the Ministry of P2MI, here on Wednesday.
"This Migrant Workers' Golden Village is the result of mutual cooperation among all stakeholders in a village to provide protection services for Indonesian migrant workers," the minister remarked.
