Bogor, West Java, Jan. 27 -- The Indonesian Navy has organized the Asia-Pacific Chaplaincy Symposium (APCS) 2025 in Ciawi, Bogor, West Java, with participation from military mental development officers from 28 countries.

Deputy chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Erwin S. Aldedharma, opened the symposium on Monday.

He said that the event, which is taking place from January 27-29, 2025, is a platform for military mental development officers to share experiences.

"With the diversity we have, we can become a role model for other countries that may not have as much diversity," he added.

The theme of APCS 2025 is "Fostering Peace and Unity through Interfaith Collaboration in the World."
