Jakarta, April 23 -- The Ministry of Industry has informed that national exports of medical devices in 2024 reached US$273 million, with domestic medical device transactions via e-catalogs increasing by 48 percent.

Director of the agricultural machinery and machinery industry at the ministry, Solehan, on Wednesday said that the launch of two ultrasound products by GE Healthcare is proof of the domestic medical device industry's readiness to scale up to the wider market.

He added that the new products are equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) to support more precise data collection to boost work efficiency and diagnostic accuracy.
