Medan, July 4 -- The administration of North Sumatra's Medan city has expressed strong support for the establishment of a city-level National Narcotics Agency (BNN) office to strengthen efforts to prevent and combat drug abuse and trafficking.
Medan Mayor Rico Tri Putra Waas conveyed this support while attending the "Proposal Seminar on the Establishment of the Medan City National Narcotics Agency (BNN)" in Medan on Thursday.
The seminar was organized in support of the Regional Action Plan (RAD) for the Prevention, Eradication, Abuse, and Illicit Trafficking of Narcotics (P4GN) by the Medan Regional Research and Innovation Agency (Brida).
