Jakarta, Oct. 23 -- The Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program is part of the government's strategy to help Indonesia escape the middle-income trap, Director of Nutritional Food Provision and Distribution at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Nurjaeni said.

He explained that through this program, the government aims to optimize Indonesia's demographic bonus by developing a highly skilled, healthy, intelligent, and productive workforce that can lead the nation toward high-income status in the future.
