Mataram, Aug. 29 -- The Head of the Mataram City Health Office (Dinkes), Dr. H. Emirald Isfihan, said on Friday that the monitoring is part of the office's role in overseeing the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program, particularly in cases of food poisoning or other health-related issues.
"This time we are coordinating with BPOM to supervise the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG)," he said.
The move follows several complaints from students and parents regarding MBG meals served at schools that were suspected of being spoiled or unfit for consumption.
