Mataram, NTB, Feb. 23 -- Indonesia's Mandalika International Circuit in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), is set to host the GT World Challenge Asia, an international car racing championship, from May 9-11, 2025, featuring a total of 66 racers.

"The international car racing event will showcase 66 racers from 33 teams across 21 countries," said Priandi Satria, President Director of the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA), in Central Lombok on Sunday.

He emphasized that the upcoming GT World Challenge Asia is the result of extensive coordination between his team and the SRO Motorsports Group, which has been assessing the circuit's readiness and eligibility since 2022.
