Medan, June 25 -- The Mandailing Natal (Madina) district police in North Sumatra destroyed six hectares of marijuana fields located in the Tor Sihite Hills, Rao Rao Dolok Village, Tambangan Sub-district.

"We brought 140 marijuana plants to the Madina Police to be used as evidence," Mandailing Natal Police Chief, Police Adjunct Chief Commissioner (AKBP) Arie Sofandi Paloh stated on Tuesday, June 24.

He revealed that the discovery of marijuana fields was based on information from the public, which was then followed up with monitoring by police personnel.

Initially, the marijuana field that was found in the area was only one hectare, but after further investigation, the police found around six hectares.
