Jakarta, Nov. 28 -- Indonesia's Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian urged Maluku provincial leaders to implement strategic measures to accelerate economic growth above five percent, exceeding the national average.
According to Statistics Indonesia (BPS) data, Maluku's year-on-year economic growth rose to 4.31 percent in the third quarter of 2025, up from 3.39 percent in the second quarter.
Karnavian said strong growth reflects healthy public economic activity and highlighted the need for leaders to monitor Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) execution to ensure alignment with initial targets.
