Indonesia, Oct. 23 -- The head of the North Kalimantan Ombudsman, Maria Ulfah, discovered two liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders from a Malaysian oil and gas company during a visit to the nutrition service kitchen at Muhammadiyah High School in Tarakan on Wednesday.
Out of 12 gas cylinders inspected, several were color-coded pink, blue, red, and green, with some confirmed to be Malaysian products, Maria said.
However, she did not investigate further the reasons for the presence of Malaysian gas cylinders.
The LPG supply is crucial for the smooth operation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG), a government initiative launched by President Prabowo Subianto to provide free meals to schoolchildren.
