Indonesia, Sept. 2 -- The South Sulawesi Regional Police have arrested 10 suspects linked to the violent demonstrations that resulted in the burning of the Makassar Regional Representative Council (DPRD) and South Sulawesi Provincial DPRD offices on August 29-30, 2025.
"We have arrested 10 suspects in this case," the Director of Criminal Investigation at the South Sulawesi Regional Police, Senior Commissioner Setiadi Sulaksono, informed on Tuesday.
He explained that the 10 individuals are suspected of involvement in the anarchic acts that led to the torching of the two council offices in Makassar City.
