Indonesia, Jan. 31 -- North Maluku Governor Sherly Tjoanda, accompanied by Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin, inspected the infrastructure of Maba Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in East Halmahera as part of efforts to strengthen health services in the province.

"The inspection was aimed at ensuring the referral hospital is fully ready to provide health services to the community before it is inaugurated and fully operational," Governor Tjoanda said on the sidelines of the working visit here on Friday.

She explained that RSUD Maba is a Type C hospital with a three-story medical building constructed through collaboration between the East Halmahera district government and the implementing contractor.
