Jakarta, Feb. 27 -- Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin stated that the initiative to manufacture blood bags and hemodialysis machines domestically could facilitate health transformation, especially by strengthening the resilience of the health system.

He emphasized the importance of being able to produce health equipment needed by the community in emergencies. This capability would enable Indonesia to be better equipped with sufficient supplies in the event of a likely pandemic in the future that may necessitate a lockdown.
